On January 8th, 2008 Rocket Software acquired the software assets of Arkivio, an award-winning developer of storage products based in Mountain View, California. Rocket will continue to develop and support Arkivio software as part of its storage unit, which also includes Servergraph and Mainstar. Arkivio's development, sales and support teams will now work and operate as part of Rocket.
We see this acquisition of assets as a win-win for existing Arkivio customers and partners, and Rocket customers and partners, who will benefit from the increased availability of Arkivio's powerful software to meet their needs.
